Tam - I don't write reviews anymore. I may offer "vague impressions".
dr. dano - No, I'll have to enter with other working-class folk.

Maybe I'll see you in line. I'll be wearing a black T-shirt, black shoes, and either black shorts or jeans (depending on the weather). I don't know how early I'll show up, as Vault members will probably get in ahead of us common folk.

That's very kind of you.
We'll probably be some of the older folks there (I'm 42 in September), though much of Jack's fanbase is probably in his age range.

i just saw that winners have already been contacted ,so i guess it won't be us.

It's all good. I don't have to be right up front; you can get a better view of the whole stage and screens if you're back a bit.

Yeah, that has me a bit concerned as well. I was hoping fot at least ~22 songs.
Hey, dr. dano, how early are you going? I came super-early (like, 10am when the show started at 7pm) to Jack's show at Deer Lake Park 4 years ago, and I could've easily come four or five hours later, and still gotten in with the first 25 folks. As I said, I'll be wearing all black (T-shirt, jeans, and shoes), I'm around 6 foot 1 with dark blonde hair, and my name is Clayton. If we happen to meet in the lineup, we can hold eachother's spot in line if one of us needs to take a bathroom break. You know, whatever you prefer.
wholelottazoso - I'd certainly offer the same to you, but I wouldn't presume that you're not already attending the show with a friend.
Are any other LRers attending? I wouldn't mind meeting some folks.
I wish I knew how to create the setlist form at Setlist.fm, as one still isn't up for the Van show.

Yeah, I considered buying actual seats as well, as that's the primary advantage. If the floor crowd is once again pretty rough (as in past JW and TWS shows at Deer Lake Park), I'll probably go that route. Assuming, of course, Jack plays the arena again, and we can't be too sure about these things.
Anyways, have fun.

hey clayton i have a seat i just want to make sure i get a poster if they have one. i think i'll try to get there around 5:45 ,this will be the first time i didn't get early entry since they started doing it. i'll keep an eye out for you.

Ah, OK. Well, I guess you're set. I'll certainly be there earlier than you. I'd like to get a poster, but figure it'd get crushed in the crowd.

He did an extended cover of some song I couldn't recognize (it may have been a b-side) in the middle of Cannon, which would pull it at least even with the last few shows, in terms of songs played. Olivia Jean went 40 minutes (until 8:40), and Jack came on at 9:20, so I knew the show would be no longer than 1 hour 40. He finished at 10:50.
None of his shows in Vancouver (White Stripes or solo) ever seem to go that long. But I had a very positive experience regardless, which I'll get into more detail on tomorrow. At least the floor crowd wasn't rough like at Deer Lake Park.
