Just finished packing.  Working for 2 hours tomorrow then heading to the airport and flying up from Burbank.

So much excitement swirling around.  Having seen Jack in many forms since 2002, I am so amazed at how the most recent reviews seem to be the most incredible of his career.  I really enjoyed the shows I saw in 2012 but the shows I've heard and seen have all been above and beyond those experiences, so I'm really excited to see it in person again.  I have been doing a whole lot of reminiscing these last few weeks and also chatting with some really cool people.  Feeling lucky and happy and really excited.

I hope to meet some Little Roomers this weekend.  You guys get it more than anyone I know.

24 hours until showtime!

Is anyone meeting up before the show? I'm thinking about heading into the city soon.

I am heading the venue at 6 Clicky.  Don't think anyone organized a meet up (too bad).  I am probably going to roam the city a bit tomorrow though.  You going tomorrow?

I am also hoping for zero brosephs in the crowd.  Thankfully I will be on the rail so all of the bro-ing will be going on behind me.  Tomorrow will be different.

I was on the rail in 2007 (at the same venue I'll be attending in six days) and I got totally crushed by all the pushing behind me.  My ribs were pretty sore for a few days.

As long as I have air in front of my face I'll be ok, even with the crushing.  What sucks for me is that I either need to be in the front row or the very back because I stress about being surrounded by people on all sides.

Strangely, there's not a huge line at the venue, according to a text I just received.  I'm surprised to hear that.

Deer Lake Park holds a ton of people, right?  I imagine it almost like festival grounds, am I right?  This will be the biggest venue I've ever seen Jack in; with the exception of Coachella in 2003.  This place tonight holds 6,000 people

I think the capacity for Deer Lake Park is 10,000, but they called The White Stripes' show in 2007 a "sellout", and I think the crowd was around 8,000.  So I'm not sure on that.

But, yeah, it's sort of like festival grounds.  Bowl-shaped, and the acoustics are shockingly good.  Apparently they're limited to 98 decibels there, so while my ears were plugged during the last concert, they weren't ringing afterwards, as far as I can recall.

Death Letter

Death Letter

Death Letter

Death Letter

Death Letter

DEATH LETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, only part of it as the intro into 7NA, not the entire thing, but enough to get me so excited that I nearly gave my self a heart attack.

There are so many things to say about tonight...  I just can't express coherently.  Will write tomorrow.

Topics to include but not limited to:

Wardrobe Malfunctions (Jack's, not mine)

Cannon into Little Room (super surprise)

Early Entry Experience

The Band

Ear Plug Usage

Riding the Rail

Disappointment in not hearing favorite songs versus absolute joy with all of the songs played

The Hair in Action

Probably more.  I'm just gonna sit here in this afterglow and let it shine for the night!

It was a significant chunk of death letter. Like 3/4. Leading into 7na. And the hair worked.
