If I wouldn't have had the massively bad luck I had at my last show (car breakdown, flat tire), I would have bought a great reserved seat I saw on ebay a few days ago for face value... All pouting aside... Have fun!

And apparently tonight's cell phone policy is that if you get caught using the phone's camera during the show, then you're getting kicked out...

I wish that meant that this show is being filmed for a release. Would it kill Jack to release a blu ray of a tour show?!

That'd be awesome. Or just a tour video in general. Like one song from each venue or something like that. And maybe with some "behind the scenes" stuff

Is this taking place in the big theatre or the smaller one?

I think the big one

For him being the (in my opinion) best live performer alive, he doesn't have nearly enough officially released live stuff. I mean, we get the vault stuff, but he should have an official solo live release. That would be so good. It's too bad they aren't documenting with video the current tour. All of the trips to the ball parks, all of it. A nice tour documentary like northern lights with a blu ray and vinyl/cd release. The box set could have a couple full live shows. Give me a minute, I'm drooling.

Haha. Well at the Fonda right before they started letting us in, there was a person with a JW shirt and a badge/permit that was using a Super 8 walking along the sidewalk and was recording how long the line was. As well as recording the venue display that had the "Einstein, Jesus, and Beatles" thing.

Apparently he played Big 3 third...how appropriate!
And I'm 90% sure the crowd will be significantly more engaged tonight.

I wonder how much fan crossover there is between the two Detroit venues.

From the Detroit Free Press Twitter:
Jack White and fans are in high gear tonight at the Masonic; Free Press reporter says "crowd is almost a member of the band."
