Well that was pretty frickin' great.

I won't attempt a setlist, there were a couple of covers I didn't recognise, but I will say Jack seemed in particularly happy and energetic form.

I'll talk you through the setlist once it appears :-)

Does anybody have any advice for silencing the voice in my head?

It speaks to me after Jack shows. It says "I am the little emotional gap left by the absence of the White Stripes, and these Jack solo shows will never quite reach me. However good they are. Here I am."

Intro to You Don't Know What Love Is:

"When we recorded this, in the next studio was Mariah Carey, and I was gonna ask her to record backing vocals for this song, but when I knocked on the door they wouldn't let me in!"

aha, damn that would've been pretty awesome. and am anxiously waiting for the setlist to show up on setlist.fm. Did the concert seem as long as his other shows this tour?

They pulled a big white curtain round the stage while setting up before the start, and again before the encore, so when the band started and the curtain was opened it was like walking in and discovering Jack and his band playing unexpectedly :)

Awwwwww, Broken Boy Soldier.  I've been waiting for that one to show up, it had better stick around!  Just about my absolute favorite live Jack White song.
