Holy sht. That was amazing. I think he went over the time and they cut the PA.
Played goodnight Irene to a hushed crowd of a couple thousand.

Great show in torrential rain. Not as much stuff from the new album as I expected, but very enjoyable.

Someone else mentioned Why Can't You Be Nicer To Me, did you hear it, too, fintano or acquiescefc?  I would loooooooooooove to hear that one.

Really enjoyed it, but preferred the shows in Dublin and Birmingham on the last tour. I miss the whole Peacocks/Buzzards inputs, and I always prefer indoor venues.

Hopefully Jack is playing That Black Bat Licorice by the time he gets to Vancouver.  He'll probably have trouble remembering all the lyrics, but it'll be a great jam.

Well, if he's not playing it live by late August, he probably never will.

Just back home now. Really really enjoyed it despite it lashing rain for the whole show apart from Good Night Irene which ended the show really sweetly. I didn't want it to end. Crowd were in great form. Had the best view I've ever had a concert...seemed to be a ten deep bunch of munchkins in front of me (I'm 5' 5") which gave me uninterrupted view for whole show :D

Couldn't really hear Alison on love interrupted. He joked about it being Lilly Mae's 67th birthday today and got all the band to say "I love you" in turn to her.

He played it at the Pomona show

Did he get the lyrics right, or, um, improvise?

I had heard that he did the song during a soundcheck, but didn't realize he'd actually performed it in front of an audience.

^ He played it mostly correct. Only one improvisation and occasionally skipping the lyrics, but he pulled it off good.
