What a show. What a trip. Before the gig I met the lovely Sir Vladius and not long afterwards we both got the early entry texts :-) I managed to secure a spot at the front row in front of the drums and we got Los Buzzardos.
The crowd was absolutely buzzing - really young.
Jack White and the band just keep getting better - going from strength to strength. Each member gave a great performance and I was absolutely blown away by Jacks guitar work - little flourishes in most songs some directly in front of me in the gap between the drums and the front of the stage.
The set felt more rock / blues / less country this time around.
In a word - phenomenal.

I'm so glad they kept at that one. It only took one or two more shows for it to click and start working with these bands.

Thanks for posting that link.
Also great to see the official photos. I'm hoping a picture surfaces of the other half of the front row where I was ;-)
Copenhagen made me realise the level of dedication so many folks put into Jack.
Whether it is the folks in Nashville and on the ground organising early entry, the photos taken and uploaded quickly for fans to see, the hours taken after the show to pack the equipment and count up the merch left.
Or indeed the hours spent by fans waiting before the show to secure a good spot or the hours spent patiently afterwards by some with nothing more than an e- ticket for signing and a hope of meeting their idol.

This was my 4th time this year (london/london/hamburg/copenhagen) - it he definitely is going from strength to strength.
Both nights booked for ally pally now (kills on second night should make dead weather songs a bit more interesting, no?)

i'm pretty happy with it, never usually buy posters at gigs (getting them home is a nightmare...why i thought copenhagen to london would be easier than london to london is beside the point lol)

great quality, limited to 300...can't wait to get it framed :D

made me think i've got to buy a godspeed poster when i see them soon
