if i was only seeing him once (and at this point, it appears that way....ANNOUNCE UK DATES JACK!), I'd hope for the guys, because i really want to see what Daru's all about. but more than once, and i'd want to see them both to compare the difference.
i'd assume that everyone would ideally want to see both, really.

the chick drummer's technique is so strange to me, like she's about to crack her sticks in half or her wrists might break. i like watching her.

hmmm she is the best thing about that band. Otherwise I'd go for the lads. The chemistry they have is impressive.

I'm down with either.

Precisely why I've got to hit up multiple shows this tour. I don't know how, but I'm going to make it happen.

No. Jack decides at breakfast each morning which band will perform that night and which will have the day off. Totally random depending on how he feels when he wakes up, apparently.

The picking of the bands does seem pretty random. I haven't noticed a pattern.

I never know what to believe where Jack's concerned. But it wouldn't surprise me. I do believe what he's said about wanting to challenge himself with this whole two-band/having to know two versions of every song scenario, so ratcheting up the challenge even more by making it random and spontaneous does sound like something he'd do.

I Love Daru's drumming technique and his presence... Not to say I don't like everything else, I just think he brings a great chunk of personality to the show to mirror or enhance Jack. He seems to be having lots of fun with Daru, feeds off him a bit. I am so impressed with all the music though, no matter who's playing!

I probably should have said "If you can see Jack only once on his tour what band would you want to see?" lol.

Daru's drumming really is something special. he has such killer style.... but i love Carla Azar's style just a bit more. she has a real presence when she plays.. in my opinion shes got a little Keith Moon in her..
either way, id be happy with seeing either band

 That means Jack has officially made it. He's big time.

Well in that case I hope I get to see both! If I had to pick one I guess I'd say ladies.

**seriously though I remember when he said something about being big enough to bring a piano on tour (back in the early TWS days) & how cool that was for him, now he brings 2 different bands! insane.
