Hmm..depends really, there's a photographic artist called Jan Saudek who I love...Mark Ryden is amazing but also damned expensive. I've been collecting those old prints of the big eyed kids for a while now too but they freak my friends out when they come round! Oh..and obviously Munch is amazing..and Gordon Matta Clark, who I didn't get til I read what his work was about and it became kinda beautiful! Anyway, I'll shut up now cos I'm realising how many things I do like!!

Frank Gehry, daring curvilinear buildings of steel and titanium
Grandma Prisbrey, created a whole village from trash found in the local dump
Alexander Calder, the first time sculpture 'moved'
Bob Fosse, his dances created an anti-thesis to ballet
Claude Debussy, the musicalization of impressionist's paintings
Bill Clinton, who says that politics aint art?
God, for creating us

I like Andy Goldsworthy, I especially like the photgraphs he did i think they were called "rainbows" where he has photographed someone hitting water with a stick so it sprays in to the light causing a rainbow effect on the camera it is amazing stuff.

If anyone hasn't mentioned Frida Kahlo yet, well, I'm doing it now. I'll post some of my favorite works by her later.

EDIT-hahhah, I picked up my lazy arse and bothered to look at the first page, and noted Frida was mentioned....PLENTY of times...well, I'll still post my favorite works later.
