Well, when you wrongly accuse people of childish reasons for not liking something, expect some resentment for yourself.

i have accused no one of anything you seriously need to chill out-
all i did was agree with richard and comment that people referencing
someone's personalities had nothing to do with the music
also that the kk/bbq thing may be a cause for anger-

not once have i even commented on whether i was infact a fan of said band!

Did you even read my post? Personalities are a vital part to the music, your personality in large part determines your......delivery, presentation and feel of your band. : O

The tour isn't a cause for anger, I promise you, their tour even lasted the same amount of time, they just had to re-book the east coast on their own. Speaking for myself, King Khan and BBQ are the last thing I think of when I think of the Cobras. Well, second to last, clown porn takes last place.

not once have i even commented on whether i was infact a fan of said band!

I don't think anyone ever said you were either ;)

What is the King Khan/Detroit Cobra's scandal anyway?

Does KKBBQ think they're better? Because they're miles beyond.

cobras kicked 'em off their tour for missin a couple shows or something. king khan & bbq got shafted on some $$$ and the cobras had missed a few dates too so khan went posted this myspace bulletin or something about it and then some people talked about it and that was it.

it's all just kk/bbq resentment to bring that point up-

You're sadly mistaken if you think what's in here is KK/BBQ resentment..

I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO THAT IS.
So trust me....it's got nothing to do with why I strongly dislike the detroit cobras.

Maybe because New York is a tough town or the couple times I've seen them I was pretty drunk but all the antics and problems I hear about regarding the Cobras, I have never seen. The times they have played here, they sounded fine and she behaved herself. She barely spoke to the crowd and when she did it was with a smile and full of pleasantries. Waving hi to people shouting for her in the crowd and stuff like that. I believe what everyone says about what they've seen and heard but it just hasn't happened here. Strange.

Alright time to finally get this over with. Look guy, you score some great interviews with good questions, and you provide some good thoughts, but for the most part, this 8-year old pseudo-macho bullshit has got to go. People can disagree and rock snobs can collide, but the petty name-calling and playground-type name insults are for the birds. I understand you are very territorial about the music from your hometown and the crowd you run with but you have to understand that these people moved on from your scene years ago (or were never attached to it to begin with, they only happen to still like a band or two from there). Now granted, one could ridicule these people for being snobby about their non-melodic, noise-only trashy garage punk (which is what the people you are fighting with, listen to...not YYY or Regina Spektor, which goes to show how out of the loop you are) but at heart they are good people and whether their problems with a band you like is valid or not, the ape-ish, childish retorts only make them look right. And the last thing you want is people who like No Bunny to be right. So go smash a beer can over head, grunt a few times, and go sit in the corner and peel a fucking banana.

I'm wrong because I say what i think is right? I don't agree with some people???
Look, I am obviously fucking around, but for some people who make this shit their real-life, they might take offense to it...
so if you're one of them DEALLLLL WITH IT!
That's what I was told to do (but you didn't say shit about that!!!)
SO basically go fuck yourself.
I thought that people could joke and be light hearted, BUT I guess Mr. Serious over here "Red Merc." wants to get personal.
And as far as "my scene" goes....I have no clue what the fuck you're talking about, that part didn't make sense?
I said that the Detroit Cobras didn't really need a "hate thread" because they are "just a cover band"
that's not kissing ass to any scene, so yeah, keep getting pissed, its funny duder!!!!
YEAHH!!!!

It didn't start as a h8 thread d000d. People are just voicing their opinions about a cover band once they were brought up.

Don't take the scene comment personally though, it's highly specific to this forum, a lot people are fucking tired of every turd with a guitar being "Teh Next M0T0R CITY SAVYERRRR". Not to say those of us criticizing the cobras can't enjoy things from Detroit though, that newest Human Eye single was great, but for the amount a lot of these bands have been hyped over the years on this forum, Cobras included, it leaves a bad taste.

Detroit Cobras may have been hyped on here, I didn't know that because I didn't post here back then.
And I don't think that evreything from Detroit is great and if someone can show me a post where I DID SAY THAT, I'd be very shocked, becuase I FOR SURE DON'T THINK THAT! NEVER SAID IT...
What pissed me off was when that one dude said that they COVER SONGS THAT WERE NOT THAT GREAT TO BEGIN WITH...
To be 100% accurate, the songs they cover are more "my scene" than Detroit, Memphis or whatever. MOST of my records are 50-early 60s R&B, so that comment DID piss me off!!! In MY opinion, that genre is A LOT the best music ever recorded, you don't have to agree...I was just defending all of the OLD/DEAD black dudes who invented ROCK N ROLL!!!!!

No Hard-(on) feelings dudes!

I'm not MACHO I LOVE COCK!!!!

QUOTE ME BOY CAUSE I SAID THAT SHIT!!!!

It's cool dude, wasn't holding it against you, just helping to clarify.

In MY opinion, that genre is A LOT the best music ever recorded, you don't have to agree...I was just defending o all of the OLD/DEAD black dudes who invented ROCK N ROLL!!!!!

I do happen to agree with this, not exactly Detroit focused, but 50's Rock and Roll is the best.

And I understand the resentment to the one comment about most the cover's sucking in the first place, but that's not by and large the opinion held by those criticizing. Never said that you claimed you hyped anyone from Detroit, I was referring to the crazed mentality this place has for anything Michigan.
