thats exactly how i disscovered photography.... actually i didnt 'discover' it, ive grown up with photography. I personally prefer SLRs over digitals, but I have nothing against them. To me, digital is just different art requiring a total different technique, that is, if you're into really neat and creative digital pieces.
I'm disappointed that its not being passed on. The photography classes at my school barely teach the basics, and they don't require you to have a manual camera. I learned about SLRs on my own, through experimentation, books, and my dad.
Oh, and JackWhite'sGirl, don't worry about it.
For some reason or another I have the equipment for a darkroom, just no place to put it.

I like this one the best:
I have lots more photos on my deviantArt homepage
Amateur Weevil - DeviantART
I suggest full view for all of 'em They're quite detailed.
I have seen similar ones at art fairs for sale for anywhere from $35 to $125 depending on the size. This is a beautiful example of good use of depth of field! I hope you don't mind that I made a copy of it, I was thinking of using it as wallpaper on my computer if you don't mind? It's absolutely stunning! All your photography on the site was beautifully done, you have a good eye!
Was that a cricket match? I've never actually seen it played, but on BBC they always talk about who is playing who and it sounds like a complicated game!
