The other day, I was listening to espn radio while working, and they were using salute your solution as intro music.

I was in London and looking around the guitar shops in Denmark St last week and heard both Salute Your Solution and Consoler Of The Lonely in different shops. I then went to the BBC television centre and heard Steady As She goes as I was going into one of the studios.

Aww...bless them. To be honest, I would have thought that they'd have their own private plane or at least the ability to rent one. This makes me love them even more for some reason. They're just SO accessible. It's nice.

Jack probably doesn't even have a private plane. That's Madonna/U2 stuff.

Last night I was in Macy's and Yellow Sun started blasting out of the Mac Cosmetics area.....I wanted to start telling people that I was going to see them many times this weekend, but then I realized that complete strangers probably wouldn't care.

Last week I fell down a giant hole and somehow ended up in the raconteurs secret underground lab where they make elixiers, stylophones, and triple jet guitars!
Ehm that was the least of my recent raconteur sightings

oh yeah and earlier today when i was searching raconteurs on photobucket i surprisingly found a picture of THE RACONTEURS

My girlfriend and I also heard this during the awards. We both almost fell out of our seats.

yeah, it's crazy when they play songs on MTV.

I watched Jack White fix/set up/soundcheck Patrick Keeler's drums at a Greenhornes concert once. I was all like "What the hell, Jack White is their roadie now?" Roxxan was at that same concert, I wonder if she noticed this. It was Nathanial Mayer/Blanche/Greenhornes, at the Magic Stick, 12/31/04.

*Jack Lawrence played in two of those bands! But does this qualify as 'random' sightings?

of COURSE i noticed that. how could i not notice jack white on stage putting drums together and stuff. that was totally weird. but i was all "awwwwww" about it. when the greenhornes played, jack stood right behind me. i totally swooned when he yelled at some guy for jumping on stage right in front of me and blocking my view. i had just turned to my sister and said "aw, i can't see now" or something when jack leans in and yells "get off the stage!" total swoon.

When Roxxan and I were in Nashville we saw Little Jack at The Black Lips show.

yep! :)

i saw all the raconteurs together and everything on saturday night. they were on a stage at terminal 5. it was weird.

Jim Rome's radio show has been using WS "Icky Thump" guitar solo as outro music...

I heard "Old Enough" played on our venerable Classic Rock FM station last week---I think it may have been a request--still, I was shocked, as they usually don't play anyone "new-ish" beyond the likes of Nickelback, et al.
Wonder if it will be the next release, as they played it on Conan's show last night, too?

I remember that.....it was half their set before somebody yanked his ass off the stage. <_<
