Well I just noticed the announcement on the Raconteurs facebook page, calling it their last show of 2011.

From what I can see on google-images it looks like a pretty cool venue.

Great reviews at Yelp, too, though many of them make it sound like a mix of GA and seated. Hard to tell.

The Tabernacle is a great place to see a show! Great venue.

This should be their promotion for the show.

The lights in the beginning of that video just about gave me an epileptic fit. Aside from that, the venue looks gorgeous.

And, goshdarnit, nothing ever stops Jack, does it?

What's this "sign up" thing? I clicked on it and it took me to a page that was inviting me to start building my own site. Does it just mean "sign up here if you're not already a member of the Vault"?

It seems as if it's going to go through the same process as the pre-sale for the Ryman. You had to have an account at the Racs site for that, if I remember correctly.

Hm, that wasn't the page the FB link was taking me to--the one on the Vault is the correct link though.

Edit: I've just been reading the comments in both places, and almost without exception they're "Come to . . .!!" I sympathize, given how far I travel to EVERY gig, but it must also drive the band insane. It seems every time Jack appears on the Vault that's what people are clamoring, too--and again I sympathize, a lot, but at the same time . . .

From that thread:

They did play Floating,. Sorry, i'm not awake...sleep posting. Fantastic show. Got there early, early, Jack shook hands with everyone on the way in. The wonderful people at 99X let me and Pamela into the Live-X set, since we were the first people in line. Got touch the copper guitar. Also Brendan, Lil Jack and Jack stopped to sign stuff, take pictures, shake hands, etc. after the show. Great day all around. More later.... after coffee....

add '5 on the 5'

Got touch the copper guitar.

That jumped out at me. Love the copper top, it's so purty.

It is, but I'd rather touch Jack than his guitar. ;)

(Actually I have no desire to meet him at all, but it's the principle. :D )

The copper top's less likely to recoil.

Remember when MI-Fest was the "only show in 2011" and remember when Jack said "no new Racs album?" and remember when they said that the Tabernacle was the "last" show of 2011?

Maybe it's smart marketing haha. Get tickets to the ONLY show! Get tickets to the LAST show! Get tickets to the specially added on BONUS show!

Counting down... Is it silly that I'm already feeling an adrenalin rush for this pre-sale?
