Ah! I thought it was weird that no one posted in this thread yet! Sorry I didn't post it earlier! Corwin, are you going to try to make it? I'll only be at the Bell House this time around.

TheHen0, I'm not sure but just give them a call tomorrow and see. I'd hate for you to miss them.

I am tired of Maxwells. I generally don't go there unless I'm on the list and can get a ride. Haha. I'm horrible. It's a bad venue if you are short and don't want to bother fighting to the front. Plus I saw the glories there back when they did three shows here a while back and Maxwells was so packed I don't want to bother. The Bell House is a decent venue to photograph them at so I much prefer it.

I'll be at Maxwells I think. Is there a full tour or what? Hadn't heard a thing about this.

Don't think so. Micks gf sent me an invite on fb to the Brooklyn show a while back and I was all OMG. I haven't talked to anyone or done the research so who knows.

i saw them last night and it was one of the best shows ive ever seen.
The first opening band was great (2 poeple)
But the second band was actually a guy playing guitar and drums at the same time. (which was pretty good)
but his singing was terrible. he kept making these weird pig sounds. (it was bloodshot bill, btw)

The Gories were amazing and i took my picture with them and got them to sign my "i know you fine" LP.

i saw boomchick once. they werent bad, but it was uncomfortable how much they ripped off the stripes but with only a quarter of the mystique and charisma. i feel like the super cute chick drummer probably idolized the stripes and then got this boy guitar player wrapped up into her scheme as she sits behind the kit with a whip telling him to be more like jack.

but that shake can well song IS pretty good.

All except the drummer look the same as they did in the 90's!
