IS IT FRIDAY YET PATRIK?

And holy shit, huge update:

http://www.nickcaveandthebadseeds.com/

Check out the Miscellany section... the video is cute. EDIT: For quick reference --> http://uk.youtube.co...h?v=DQ7oizdQ0KY
And I love how The Bad Seeds have so little respect for America. (American release dates still TBA)

FINALLY, here's the bizarre (but fitting with the funk and NYC theme) album cover:

YES AND IM A THIRSTY DOG!

haha, it's the fucking shit. And that album must be too. I love that cover. Reminds me of "Big Time" by Tom Waits. Only cooler. Looking forward to it, but MARCH! : (

1. http://cfp.english.u...ional/1053.html

The University of Westminster in London, U.K., proposes to host a two-day
conference on the work and career of renowned Australian singer-
songwriter Nick Cave on July 5-6, 2008. Proposals for papers are
welcomed. The conference will primarily focus on Cave as a lyricist and
songwriter, but other perspectives - musical, cultural, critical - will
be most welcome. Please submit proposals (300 words max.) to Dr John
Baker at bakerj_at_westminster.ac.uk by November 30, 2007. Informal
preliminary enquiries are also welcome.

2. Listen to Nick Cave interview from Boxing Day (and presumably, new music) at BBC
http://www.bbc.co.uk...aveny/?focuswin

Go to Wednesday's show on the right hand side.

Whenever you bump this thread, I think it will be because a Toronto date has been announced so I get heart palpitations.

THANKS A LOT

<_< stir boy

I was at the best Lollapalooza line up ever in its history - 1994 - which included Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds at the most awesome venue ever, Mountain View, California, USA. So I own you bitches. That's right. Smashing Pumpkins, Beastie Boys...pfft...Nick was loving us way back when you were all in your romper rooms.

Official music video for DLD!!! is up: http://www.nickcavea...sdig/index.html

I like it. The glimpse at the director's past artworks made it pretty obvious the silhouetting would make an appearance in the video.
I don't like, however, how Nick doesn't have his Grinderman 'stache anymore : (
