Hello children.

I'm a musician from Australia. Unfortunately, not many people I know like the White Stripes. I'm just a 16 year old kid living in an abomination.

I'm bored today, so I joined the Little Room. I'd share more of my story, but I'm betting you won't care, and to be sincere, neither do I. It's not so adventurous.

So I just logged in, and decided to look around. This is the first forum I've been on with an "Introduce yourself" branch.

That is really cool.

I'm hoping to form a band this year and maybe put out an album if I can this year. I've kinda been tucked in my (Not so little) room writing songs with my trusty, old, fragile bass guitar (Ashley). I've never had a lesson, but apparently I have some kind of "musical spark".

So that's pretty much it. Well, far from it, but uh, "I'd share more of my story, but I'm betting you won't care, and to be sincere, neither do I."

Jack White is my life and I'm pretty sure he's yours too. That's why we're all here.

Seriously, though, welcome to the LR.  And cheer up!  Maybe some of the other Aussies here will come out and play with you.

Just FYI, too-- Most of us here are way older than children  ;)

Oh, I know that. I don't know, "children" is just a little nickname for people I have.

I apologize if you find it condescending.

Not a problem.  I take it kinda like John Lee Hooker's "boogie chillun".

Does anyone get the username, by the way?

It's a reference to an awesome under-appreciated show.

I'm from Victoria, like 2 hours away from Melbourne.

It is too hot. And then an hour later too cold. Melbourne weather is bipolar.

I don't think I'm young for a musician. As the years go on, younger and younger people are learning music. Hell, my 5 year old sister has recently been on my Dad's drum kit, and I reckon she's not too bad. I tried to teach her how to play bass, but, well, I tried. I guess 5 is a little too young. For now.

Anyway, I'm hoping I can put together a few songs this year. I'm in this class called "certificate II in Music". I don't really know what it is, they didn't put in much detail. All I know is that it overlaps my last period and keeps me at school until about 4:00.

I'm thinking that well, in a music class I'm likely to find musicians. So maybe I can start some sort of band and eventually create some musical fusion. I'd put out stuff by myself, but unfortunately I'm kind of a terrible singer. Which is odd, since all the other males in my family are singers.

Hello!  I'm from Melbourne nowadays but I grew up two hours away in a little shithole calls Shepparton.,  You may have heard of it.

Welcome and if you're still around here when you release that album remember to PM me.  I can sometimes help with shit 'n' stuff.

I lived in Shepparton for a few years...Got memories...

One of my old friends from there is now a really rich kid, the same age as me, who owns an app company.

I still go there from time to time...

Of course not, you're never to young music I think! My brother plays the drums, and my uncle was in a band in drums and voice, well they like the Metal and hard rock .. Well and I just listen to music and singing very badly, not my thing! hahah
If you get to post some video playing or something I would like to see e (:

I honestly want to record myself playing something.

But, for 2 reasons, I unfortunately cannot.

1: My singing voice. It's not bad, but it's not good, and no one wants to listen to someone who can't sing well.

2: A couple of months ago I got a new bed. I traded in my bed I'd had since l was still a kid (That was creaking and probably about to collapse. I was sad to see it go) for a big comfy bed. Due to the size of the bed, I had to move everything around, and my camera charger got lost in the process. It's a pretty good camera too, because I also enjoy film making.
