Yeah. Just watched it. I love me some Jack White, pretty much my favorite current musician.... but as for this performance? Meh

Why do I think this is the most amazing album? I am losing my mind.

Well, anybody who has been following my posts knows I was unimpressed at first. An unimpressed astronaut, more or less. but I have been converted. I have seen the light.

I was listening to the album on You Tube for the last couple of weeks, song by song, horrible quality.... and even then it was slowly growing on me. But when I heard the CD quality yesterday.... this is the most perfectly mastered, crafted work of musical art that has ever been made. Every track is symbiotic, that is to say, they are in intimate relationships with one another.. Wet relationships.

I hear people on here saying it is alright.... not his best, not his worst. Well, as a die hard White Stripes fanatic, I think this is light years ahead of anything the White Stripes have ever done, and that is such a bold statement coming from the likes of me.

I hated the Raconteurs. I don't give a crap for the Dead Weather. Though I've seen both bands live, and they were extraordinary shows.... the albums are just so so. But I always loved jack. And I always loved the White Stripes, my all time favorite band, ahead of the Beatles.

But this new album... my god. Wow. I just couldn't be more happy. It is unlike anything I have ever expected... and so much greater, and wilder than my own imagination could have forseen. Jack White has blown my mind like no other. The album has made me weep once or twice.

I never thought I would say this, but I am so happy to say that, in my opinion, this is the best work Jack has ever done. So much better than anything I have ever heard before. So much better than any Beatles album. I say that because there isn't one weak song.... there isn't one Ringo song.... all 13 tracks are my favorite. Every one of them is a real pleasure to experience, and I can't think of any other album like that. The Wall has songs like The Thin Ice or Bring the Boys Back Home that are good songs, but not as great as the others.... Dark Side of the Moon has the dreadful Great Gig in the Sky.... even Sgt. Peppers has Lovely Rita, which is like nails on a chalkboard to me. But Blunderbuss? Damn, son. Every song here is a real gem. Even the cover song... you got me noivous.

This album is the real deal. I've never heard music like this. I've never imagined music like this. And every track here could have been made at any time.... in the 60s, or the 50s, even. I'm like a kid in a candy store with this new CD.

This is the best album I've ever heard in my life. Better than anything the White Stripes have ever done. I never thought I would say that. But this beast just flows from start to finish, non-stop. As a musician, this album makes me insanely jealous.

This music is incredible. I've never listened to an album from start to finish, over and over again, like this... I am on five times now, still going strong. I hope I don't burn myself out on this.......
