Heyla. So I got in a shipment of TMR seven inches today and inside my copy of "Blue Blood Blues" I found what appears to be a photo booth pic of Alison Mosshart. Here's a scan:

It was kind of halfhazardly hanging out of the white paper inside the sleeve, like it was dropped there or something. Was this supposed to be included with this release? And if not then where did it come from? Thanks in advance for any insight!

Shane

OK, now I'm really starting to get curious about this pic. It looks like it was cut a bit unevenly because the black at the top is thicker than the bottom. On the back it says "PMI" and "Photographic Passport Paper" if that helps.

Alison got a new passport photo done and took it down to third man records to be endorsed "this is a true image of etc etc signed by blah blah" and thats one of the spares?

haha, no, passport photos are supposed to have a white background arent they? maybe third man is being funny?

It's the size of a photo booth picture, that's weird that it has anything regarding a passport pic written on it. Aren't passport pics bigger?

It is probably a photo from the photo booth at TMR, and they probably use the same photo paper supplier as like the post office does...but whether or not it is included with the release I'm not sure...sounds like you might've lucked out on either something they tossed in a few of the singles or just something that made its way into the single on accident! :D

I'm so envious right now! Maybe we should all go buy some singles and see what we get. Knowing my luck, probably just a big bill lol.

This is probably nothing but there was something else cool with this shipment. When I opened the box containing all the singles I noticed postage and writing on the INSIDE. Looks like it had been used and turned inside out. I opened it all the way and saw it had been shipped to Ben Blackwell from some guy called Mike Clark in Royal Oaks, MI (postage paid in Detroit, MI). Someone had written notes on the box with a Sharpie:

Can't really make much out and, like I said, it's a little bit of nothing. No telling whose writing that is. Just interesting that TMR reused a box like this.

Here's what it looked like completely open (I've blacked out the sender's street address):

PS: It contained 10 TMR singles I ordered just after Christmas (and the TMR 45 adapter for ordering $50 worth of music)

Makes sense. Wish I could make out what the writing says though. This has been a great distraction for an otherwise boring day. haha

And the BBB is just a normal copy and not different in any way, cover or vinyl?

I wonder how much that would go for on ebay?

No but I seriously don't want that question answered.

The box?? Shane, you have to do it, put the thing on eBay. This could be seriously entertaining.
