I have to go play with my kiddos now...but will look for more stamps tonight when they are sleeping, :).

I am going to try and finish at least my Tesla stamp pendant this weekend - though seeing the sea monster one makes me want to do that one first  .

I'll post photos when they are done.

They will be part of my Kuriosties line, which will be opening in the next few weeks - just starting on Etsy for this line and another of my websites maybe ( a couple of pieces are scattered here and there already, but not stamps), but I can pm the Etsy shop to those who are interested in them when it is up - just don't want to mix my LR-ing too much with my day job, lol. It would feel weird somehow.

Sure you do. We are all potential customers. Especially when you make stuff that is secretly associated with the bands we love. I can't wait to see your work.

The first two rows are near JW except the very middle stamp which is below BB.
The bottom right and left are near PK.

EDIT: The POLSKA stamps is below JW.

Agreed. Very cool R.O.

So on LJ theme: On the Seattle-LJ poster it's a balloon that's fallen to the ground. And the stamp above him in the band poster is a Zepp-elin (as JPJ would say). I guess you guys know this already (I'm just figuring it out). The card that comes with the vinyl, is just LJ playing bass. I'll have to look at the background on that card though to see if there are any flying objects, grounded or otherwise...

Wow! You guys have been busy this weekend!

I just found this one now - a buffalo near Brendan's head. It is from 1970 - so maybe some of the stamps are important because of the dates they were issued (Brendan was born in 1970 if I remember correctly, though I might be wrong).

edit:

Here's another one I just found on Brendan:

Posted Image

Oh!oh! This one also by Brendan! This one was giving me a hrd time because I kept finding 24 cent stamps with planes....but not like this, LOL

Posted Image

This is apparently one of the most famously wrong stamps ever made, :). In December 2007 it went for $825,000 at auction! And in November 2007 it went for $977,500! It's a 1918 Inverted Jenny apparently. Cool.

I like this stampy jigsaw puzzle. What a geek am I? lol

Hmmmm....there's a reason why Patrick's theme reminded me of the Pony Express I guess, :). Here ya go, just above the buffalo stamp...

Damn all of you have really put quite a bit of research and found a ton of things I never saw in the poster. Extremely interesting stuff thanks for all of the information.

Yeah, nice work everyone.

1) JW have Polish ancestry? Or JL? I do.

2) The Rocket stamp, bottom right....that's in one of the posters east of Vegas, no?

So some of these stamps haven't played out in posters yet. Not that any more necessarily will.

This is better than 'Mystery House'

Jack White does have Polish ancestry - don't know about Jack Lawrence

Picture of the Denver poster from EB. Check out the musical bars in the background, this poster is hands down my favorite so far.
