Just got my tickets for the 2015 Sleater-Kinney tour. Very excited that they're getting back together with new music. I didn't get into them until a few years ago.

Anyone else?

(also, am I right in thinking that the White Stripes might have supported S-K once upon a time?)

yes--I will be trying for tickets within the hour--wish me luck!

And The White Stripes did indeed support Sleater-Kinney. I had the great fortune to chat with the delightful Janet Weiss last year and I asked her if there were any pictures taken of her and Meg together because if I saw that I would just melt into a puddle. Indeed, they exist! But they may be ungoogeable.

Good work!

This is the opposite of how I often feel about reunions. This time I am the guy who didn't know about S-K the first time around, and is super excited they have new stuff and a new tour.

That doesn't mean I'm in favour of reunions in general. In general I'm not.

The White Stripes both opened for Sleater-Kinney (in September 2000) and had Sleater-Kinney open for them (in August 2005)

Chicago show was great. Not my video but I was just about next to the person who shot it.
