Can anyone confirm that the Raconteurs have never toured Australia until now? Press releases are claiming this is their first tour.

I could swear they toured the Consolers album here. But can't find anything on it, must have been dreaming.

I would assume that Colin included all of the 2008 dates here-- http://littleroom.wh...showtopic=58655  Doesn't appear to be anything in Australia there.

That's correct - North America, Europe, one festival in Japan (plus a couple of promo shows there), but never Australasia.

Huh? But wasn't there a thing with a fan stalking them there? Thought it was with the Racs in Australia... Hmm...

The bigger question you've got to ask yourself is, "Have The Saboteurs toured Australia?"

If not now, maybe in another leg later this year? This is starting out feeling like the BHR tour, which was announced in dribs and drabs around the festival schedule and hopped around a lot.

Gonna guess its all based on when the album is released....would guess the album is out in June which would mean I imagine they wanna be in the states to do promo around then. That way they can go from Australia to Europe, do these euro shows and do European promo (some cases prerecord stuff) then be back in America for album release. Launch US tour in June/July/ August and imagine theyre back in Europe late fall around November for a proper tour.

Those are just my wild ass based on nothing guesses that seem logical in my head. Otherwise why go to Europe to only do 4 shows unless theres more stuff youre doing whilst over there.
