They've been posting this pic on social media with the caption,

"10 YEARS AGO TODAY we planted our black and yellow flag in this #Nashville soil and we've been aiming to make you feel like Ben Swank with a bowl of Dum Dums every day since. How are we doing?"

Happy day to us on TMR's born-on day!

Thats fantastic. I think TMR Nashville has impacted the vinyl industry far beyond city limits.

My only experience there was to be there just after it closed. I was on business in Huntsville and drive up in a rental. I did get to peer sadly through the glass and take pictures.

Long live TMR!

Apparently there's going to be quite a big celebration: https://thirdmanreco...in-eight-years/
The Racs are playing, I'm pretty curios about their return, hopefully someone will post their experiences here!

Man this celebration is going to be awesome.  What a lineup.  I can't believe it's been 10 years already!

A friend of mine and I have been discussing going, but I'm not sure I can justify or sort the logistics since I move and go to Portland. I would kill to see the Raconteurs, Soledads, and Dirtbombs--among others.

No Von Bondies on that lineup?  :P

My guess is that they're going to have part of 7th Ave blocked off and that they'll arrange to use part of the parking lot belonging to the Mission across the street. They've done each of those things for events in the past.
