Same show, somewhat same cast, new locale.

i think there are only a handful of returning cast members (I know of two), and it's a completely new story line in a completely new setting. i think the returning cast are actually portraying new characters from the looks of it. i can't wait for this to start. the first season was fucked up in pretty great ways.

i thought that was a pretty strong opener. it definitely served its purpose in setting the stage for bigger things.

i'm pretty sure, though, that the hospital is at least partially inspired by the Ridges, this creepy (and haunted) shuttered insane asylum on my school's campus. read here if you dare: http://www.forgotten...ges/ridges.html

but anyway, i enjoyed it. not much to say yet, except... that scene with the guy who used to be tate: he was abducted by aliens?

i feel like the first season was way more fun to watch BECAUSE it was so weak. when the show tries to be good, it usually fails, even this season. of course there have been some great moments/characters, and it's definitely much better at character development (last season only tate was fully and well drawn) than it was.

I thought the first season was pretty good although it went downhill with almost ever episode. Glad to hear most people like season 2 better, I should start watching it.

The problem with the first season is they did in 12 episodes what probably should have been done in 6. But this second season has been phenomenal. The characters are great and they have so many stories going on. They are juggling a lot and doing it rather well, so long as they don't start dropping the balls.

Okay, I went on a marathon and got caught up on season two. Season one did seem to run out of gas but I would have to say through six episodes I enjoyed season one more than two. Still good though. Maybe I'm just giving season one bonus points becaue of that housemaid. How great was she? We've also had Six Feet Under representation in both seasons. Good stuff.

Just thinking of the young red headed house maid saps my brain of its ability to talk about her in any sort of intellectual or logical manner. God damn.

Maybe it's just me, but I am just not liking this season compared to last. It just seems like the plots are all over the place..... Don't get me wrong, I still like the show, very much, but just not as much as Season One. But that certainly could change as there is a good deal of episodes left in this season.
