By that time The Kills will be done promoting their record, QOTSA will have already done their thing, and who knows what the hell Jack is doing but he will probably be up for it if the others want to do something.

I really hope so. I've come to love The Dead Weather just as much if not more than I love The White Stripes. Saw them live for the first time this past summer. Can't wait to experience it again.

from what i've seen, QOTSA are recording their new album soon, so Dean will be busy.
Personally I'd predict the racs get together sooner.

I would love to see it happen, but I'll believe it when I see it. I agree about the Rac's possibility- I think Alison & Dean will be tied up for awhile but the Greenhornes only have a few summer dates scheduled thus far.

I have to throw in my two cents and say yes, we need Raconteurs NOW. However, I know Brendan is recording another album right now.

Yeah I miss the Raconteurs but like you said Brendan is working on solo material. So not looking good. I really want to hear new Jack White songs.

I would like to see Dead Weather return to the stage with a different singer to add to Alison like maybe a duo with Andrew Stockdale... actually i think bjork singing for Dead Weather might really deliver it to the land of the gods

but seriously... depth in vocals/lyrics and range of musicality with this group is what sets it apart... Racs are just gifted writers with soul

It doesn't look like the Racs will be together soon. The Greenhornes plan on touring Europe (yay) in fall and as Brendan records a new album it doesn't look to good. I miss the Racs, but I hope that the Greenhornes train can roll on for a little longer.

Honestly... Greenhornes do need their space and time to wind out their full measure in my opinion given their distinct sound variation from old stuff to new stuff... kinda exciting really... in a sub-dude sorta way... love them
