i came across the song Jordan in guitar hero and, even though its nothing like what i usually listen to, think its pretty awesome ()

but i looked him up on wiki and the amount of stuff he has put out is absolutely ridiculous. can someone tell me where to start?

He's not that bad, but it's the kind of music that would get boring really fast. This is an opinion based on probably 0.1% of his songs.

The only known picture of Buckethead's face:

Bucketheadland, Colma, Population Override and Pepper's Ghost are all good places to start. Bucketheadland is all over the place. Colma is quiet and surf-rockish. Population Override is Jazzy in a pseudo-Jimi Hendrix sort of way. Peper's Ghost has songs similar to 'jordan'.

I like the song Big Sur Moon from Colma in particular. I don't understand what people could have against a man who break dances and gives away toys at concerts.

that buckethead can really wail on the "Empire" theme from Star Wars whilst throwing action figures of himself into an unenthusiastic crowd

Must be some sort of extension to help the guitar playing. He clearly has normal fingers:

Now that I look at the picture again it's clearly ridiculous but he does have particularly long fingers.

Buckethead is amazing, Even if you are someone who does not tend to like shred music you should check him out. His playing is very very diverse, I really should pick up some of his albums.

Re: Subtitle

A bucketload?

You know it was coming.

Didn't he release a 13-disc album? Or was it 13 albums on the same day?

Some time back I got a bunch of his albums for free. The only one worth any thing was Population Override.

How much did the used record store give you for it?

I think he's pretty cool. Never really got that worked up about him, though.
