I know this is off topic but can anyone locate the origin of this image? I have looked with no success I know it is Jeanne d'Arc, but I have never been able to find anything similar.

I thought it was a small poster, but it looks great large. :)

I have the images for the two queen victoria posters, i should post soon.

I posted on EB in the threads for the poster some of the images you guys came up with. I also gave you full credit but thought it was so interesting that it needed to be listed in the poster threads on EB. You guys are really amazing at how quick you can find the original images or little secrets in the posters. Red Orchid post the pictures for the Queen Victoria posters I would really like to see them.

Once again you amaze me at all the small references you find in Rob's posters. I have a feeling you have just scratched the surface as well. I do have a copy of the Aluminum Tinmen Collage and personally consider it Rob's finest piece of art that he has ever created. As far as White Stripes posters go the Detroit 05 Spotlight version is his best but this one blows it away with all the detail and the sheer size of the print. There is a meaning to all three Aluminum prints they all tie in together. I had no idea that is where the image of all the angels came from, everytime you post I learn something new. Bravo

I'm really glad you all find it interesting. I really just stumbled upon them because of that one clue in the Washington poster. But isn't Doré's work amazing? All of his illustrations are so epic looking, no wonder Rob likes them.

I agree Dore's work is just mind blowing it is so freaking good. The Angels print you posted is now my new screen saver I love the story behind it too. Great stuff I cannot thank you enough for that tidbit of information. I am such a nerd when it comes to the inspiration of Rob's prints and I find your posts really fascinating.

Well there we go :P

And for the Nashville poster, the description says the photo she is holding is of her true love.
Do you think he means John Brown?

Edit:Nevermind, he mentions him in the blurb also :P
I thought it would be Albert just flipped, but hes facing the wrong direction

Also, for the Thunder Bay poster, I think Ive actually BEEN to the Statue.
(I was 7). We were in some park thing, and it was in county Meath. All I remember

We did see another St Patrick Statue in Saul(C Down), but he doesnt have the right cane

Edit AGAIN:
Okay, its in a place called the Hill of Tara.

Edit:
Again, statue very similiar, not quite there

I have mentioned this before but not sure if anyone read it. What White Stripes song is the Milan poster a reference to?
