I don't know if anyone else likes Bertie Blackman. I DO. I'm listening to her new album and I like. I like a lot.


In other news, The Grates have opened a tearoom/bar a short walk from me. It's amazing and they are amazing.

Mostly "indie". But with pop and electronic sensibilities (more apparent with each album). I don't think she has made a truly great record yet. I think she could though.


You know Patience and John are getting married? It's soon too.

Saw this band San Cisco yesterday when they played live in a dutch tv show.
The female drummer stated that Meg was a big influence and one of the reasons she started playing the drums.
Thought that was really cute
