I saw him in April, and he was great...I'll probably go to the December 3rd show too...Anyone know who might be opening this time around? I haven't seen anything.

Anyone going to the show at the Horseshoe tomorrow night? I purchased tickets but it depends on the weather, if we go...Highway drivers & snow = death, or perhaps some type of dismemberment.

When he opened up for the white stripes in detroit back in october, i loved it. I would have had no problem with them playing for another 30 min or whatever.

I was at the Blind Pig show too-- I thought he was great, though very by the book. Still worth seeing for sure.

Well, we ended up going to the show on Saturday, it was really good...Apparently it will be his last show for awhile since they had been touring for quite a while...Brendan looked a little rough and even thinner than he was before...I'm glad I went, even though I already saw him this year...It was a pretty good show...I hadn't heard of Matthew Barber and the Union Dues before, and they were the opening act...They were pretty good live.

I've seen Brendan 3 times (out of 4 times i tried to)
At Rock City in 2004, i thought he was the bee's knees. First time i heard Cold Hands Warm Heart. Then i tried to see him play with Blanche in a NY bookstore but he got lost in the airport. Then i saw him a couple months ago with the Greenhornes at The World Cafe in Philly, which is a weird place to see a rock concert. You have to sit at tables like in a restaurant. Brendan and band we're thrown off by this, were really smirky and eye-rolly about it. I was in the front naturally and that wasn't that much fun to see. Oh well. Thought he was 'by the book' as someone else said, at the Coney Island WS show.

edit: make that 5, completely forgot the last time in the D.

Ahem.

Hey man, is that Freedom Rock, man?
Yeah, man...
Well turn it up, man!
"In a white room..."

*I bet that's on 'youtube' somewhere. Go google "Freedom Rock" on 'youtube.' Or whatever you'd do.
