Was this the first time "Floating" was played on this tour? Did Brendan sing the whole thing?
I really like that song; I would have never been introduced to Jape had they not covered it last tour.

No, they didn't play the whole thing, just the first verse and the riff for about 30 seconds in the middle of 'Rich Kid Blues' - I really like the song, too! I nudged my sister when they started playing it and we freaked out a little. Definitely a nice little surprise!

And as for all this talk of Jack being in a bad mood, I didn't detect that at all. I was front row about 5 or 6 people from center and from what I could tell, he was just being Jack ;) My sis and I saw him leaving for dinner a couple hours before show time and he smiled and waved at her, so he seemed to be in good spirits. I don't think he was opposed to being in St. Louis at all - as a matter of fact, when he was introducing the band he was smiling and seemed happy to be there.

All around great show with a great crowd - everyone was dancing and having a great time - they really seemed to feed off of the energy. Jack even imitated our little arm wave during 'Many Shades of Black' with a coy little smile and extended the 'La La La Las' for what seemed like an eternity as the crowd sang along at the end.

After the show there were about 20-30 people waiting by the buses. Jack came out first and went down the line, shaking hands with a few folks, but he didn't sign anything. He must've recognized my sister and I from before the show because he made a B-line to us, shook our hands and thanked us for coming out with a smile. Then he disappeared onto the bus. Little Jack came next, didn't sign anything as far as I could see. Brendan was next, but he high-tailed it to his motorcycle, drove it onto the trailer and sped past the crowd to get on the bus. Patrick was probably in the best spirits. He signed a few things for people and chatted for a bit. When he got to us, he shook our hands and signed our tickets. My sister's sharpie was running out of ink, so he stood there scribbling on the front of it for a while, it was pretty funny. He flipped it over and finally got it to work and drew a little portrait of himself, pretty cute. He was very, very nice. Glad I finally was able to meet him!

Great show, great night, great people. What more can you ask for in a concert experience?

Yes, I believe I was right behind you! Again, sorry for my boobs squished up against your back. I finally gave up yelling, "Sorry!" every time someone shoved me into you and the girl next to you, because I didn't figure you could hear me anyway.

Still, great show... as you were taking pics, I kept thinking, "Damn, I wish I had brought my camera-- she's getting amazing shots.." I wasn't sure if they were allowed and didn't want to have it taken away from me. Oh, well.

Ha! Don't worry about it. I know there's nothing you can do about it in that situation!

I asked a woman at the door before the show if cameras were allowed and she said only point-and-shoots, no detachable lenses or DSLR cameras, so you would've probably been fine. But there are lots of beautiful photos on Flickr and videos on YouTube, so you're covered. It's better to enjoy the show without worrying about a camera anyway!

You must have been really close to me-- I was right in front of Jack's mic, kinda behind/between two girls on the rail. Looks like you were ever so slightly to the left of me.

Regarding the damsel in distress-- I just assumed she was overheated; it never occurred to me that she might be on drugs-- she did look very young and innocent to me! But honestly, I didn't notice her before or during the rest of the show-- I only saw her keeling over with her eyes rolling back in her head.

Maybe I was one of the girls you were behind ;) I had a straight shot of Jack's mic, right at the barrier. I have short blonde hair (if they jogs your memory?)

And yeah, she looked mighty young to be drugged. Whoever she was with looked frightened out of their mind - I just remember looking back and seeing her limp in his arms, and then I looked to Jack and he was pointing for security to help her, but they seemed oblivious. Sort of a shame he had to stop the show due to the lack of competent theater staff.

But all in all, GREAT night, GREAT show. Glad everyone enjoys the video!
